A beautifully worn pair of antique buckles — likely late Victorian or Edwardian — full of character and charm. One features a stylised shell motif in a classic oval shape, the other a rare scalloped/clover-like design with delicate detailing and riveted construction. Both are made from a darkened metal alloy and show lovely signs of age.

The scalloped buckle has some gentle rusting on the old iron fittings and rivets, which adds to its antique character! These are likely to have been shoe buckles or decorative closures, and they’d be perfect for collectors, historical costuming, or craft projects.
