♥️ Description ♥️
A Chinese ginger jar in rich red, detailed with traditional Longevity (Shòu) script and floral accents in green and white. The surface is textured with curling clouds and symbol medallions, evoking prosperity and good fortune. Originally intended as a spice or tea jar, it makes a lovely display piece or could be repurposed as a small bud vase.
The mark on the base appears to be printed Qianlong-style mark, likely mid to late 20th century Chinese export ware. A companion to the yellow version I have listed separately.
